This gathering space needed more room.
We took out the existing kitchen and restructured the space by reframing in some Harvey Casement windows and added a massive kitchen. 
A ton of work to remove the existing drop ceiling and raise all of the mechanicals to achieve a taller space bit it definitely lightened the space.
We refinished the floors and removed an extra entrance to the space for a nice sitting area, all while integrating existing whitewash tongue and groove walls.
